International Environment conference 2008 under title  "Environmental Management and & Green Technologies Towards Sustainable Development" was hold in Penang city of Malaysia on 15-17 December by co-operation Iranian Society for Green Management and School of Chemical Engineering, University Sains Malaysia (USM).

450 specialist and experts of 7 countries including Australia, America, England, Italy, Pakistan, Indonesia, Germany, Turkey, Taiwan, Thailand, China, Philippine, Korea, Poland, Nepal, Slovenia, Jordan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Romania, Japan, Sweden, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Finland, France, Kuwait, Malaysia, Myanmar, News land, Nepal, Nederland, Hong Kong, Greece and 45 Iranian Environment Managers, Experts and Students participated in this forum.

It is noteworthy that 278 specialty essays and posters on environmental challenges of Productive organizations and services have been presented by participants that 23 essays was for Iranian specialists. Thus Model of GREEN MANAGEMENT AWARD has been introduced as successful experience in mentioned meeting.

One of issues in this event was remarkably, insertion of ISGM logo on  all of packages including collection of essays, CD and presents (Bag and  publicity booklets) for introduction efforts of Iranian organizations in environmental field.

On the other hand, the issuance all of certificates for lectures and participants with ISGM logo and Signature was other outcomes of conference.

ISGM along with Iranian specialist team who participated in conference by ISGM arrangement,  presented a specialty seminar under title " Green management, Successful experiences of Iranian organization" and the organizations as Mobarakeh Steel, Sepahan Cement, some Petrochemistry units, and Environment affairs of Minerals and Industries Ministry submitted their green activities and outcomes.
